Hi.

I'm a writer who dabbles in a little bit of everything: prose poetry, creative nonfiction, science communication. I've thrown it all in a hodgepodge mishmash here.

Debtor

I’ve paid my grief in sand
drip, drip, dripping
the only currency that
carries any
    weight.
I tried to offer glass,
blood red and emerald green,
worn smooth, opaque by
    waves.
But they only wanted sand,
fine-grained, powdery,
     white.
And when I opened my hands,
it spilled to the floor
in the softest rush of
    wings.
